Hello friends! The following Bible Treasure deals with Trusting In The Lord :D

2 Corinthians 5:7

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight

***The above clip is from a movie called, "Indiana Jones"***
In this movie we find Indiana Jones searching for the "holy grail" which is supposedly the cup in Which Our Lord Jesus Christ Drank during the Last Supper, and it's supposed to give eternal life.
This would be idolatry in real life, since The Only One Who Gives Eternal Life is our Lord Jesus Christ, not a cup.

It's important to never make an idol out of anything. Ancient civilizations have been hurt tremendously by this particular sin.
I thought of this particular scene as it is a good analogy of Faith.
In this scene, the hero is holding a book with his father's notes, which hold very important information that can help the hero pass a series of trials (It's also interesting to note that the hero holds onto this notebook with all his strength as it is of great importance)
The above scene is the culmination of those trials and is also an ultimate test of blind Faith.

In a similar fashion we as Christians hold our Father's Book, Which Has Vital Keys that will help us pass a series of trials and tribulations in order that we may be counted as worthy of our Lord Jesus Christ; The Real Holy Grail Of Life :D
(Like the hero in the movie we must also hold on to our Father's Book and His Words, for they are of vital importance)
Also, the above scene can represent the initial step into Faith in Jesus Christ
We all have to face different tests of faith throughout our lives, therefore, we must be ready and watchful, putting on

The Whole Armor Of God

Loins girt about with Truth
Breastplate of Righteousness
Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of Peace
Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Helmet of Salvation
And The Sword of the Spirit, which is The Word of God

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

BIBLE TREASURE

Having Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ Has absolutely amazing benefits. We're going to look into different passages in The Bible where we find different people having Faith In The Lord Jesus Christ, and what happened as a direct result.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1(NIV)

11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

I can also vouch from personal experience that having Faith In Jesus ChrisIs The Best Gift you can give yourself :) The second you believe in Jesus Christ 100% and Walk in His Ways, you will undoubtedly see fantastic things happening in your life; you Will Be born again :)

*WARNING*

Once you develop Faith In Jesus Christ and decide to follow Him 100% of The Way, you will be tested, remember the devil is roaming around like a lion seeking whom he might devour.
Please also remember that Even our Lord Jesus Christ Who committed no sin was attacked by the devil in the desert.
This will also happen to us during times of trials and tribulation, but this is when we use God's Holy Word; The Bible. We attach ourselves to The Lord Jesus Christ and Never Let Go. Remember God's Word and Keep It hidden deep in your heart and mind; our Lord Jesus Christ beat the devil Using God's Word. We can do the same :)

Our Lord Jesus Christ showed us The Way :D
This is all that must be done, persevere until the end in Jesus Christ's Name, never become discouraged, but Trust The Lord Always, even during what might seem like impossible odds.

James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us to resist the devil by Submitting ourselves To God and the devil will flee from us. This also means the devil will attack us in order to distract us from Submitting our lives To Jesus Christ. We must be aware, be watchful, be vigilant)

Hebrews 10:36

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

John 2:1-10 (NIV)
Jesus Changes Water Into Wine

2 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4 “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so,
9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

When the guests had ran out of wine, the servants were told to do whatever Jesus Tells them to do (Whatever He Commands) The servants did exactly this (In doing What Jesus Christ Had Commanded, the servants had Faith, they trusted The Lord) and as a result they enjoyed The Best Wine any human has ever tasted. Wine made By Royalty, and not the human type of royalty, But Wine Made By The Son Of God Himself. Undoubtedly the best wine ever made as a result of obeying our Lord Jesus Christ'Commandments, having Faith In Him :D

Matthew 14:13-21 (KJV)

Jesus Feeds Five Thousand People

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

The multitude had seen Jesus Christ's Miracles and believed He Is The Son Of God (They had Faith In Him) The Apostles also had Faith In Him as they had been following Him and seeing all of His miracles.

John 20:29 (KJV)

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Both the multitude and The Apostles were given Commands by The Lord Jesus Christ, which they followed promptly, as a direct result of their faith, they ate until they were filled :D

John

Jesus Heals A Blind Man

9 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?
9 Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.
10 Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?
11 He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
12 Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.
13 They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
24 Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
27 He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
28 Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples.
29 We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.
30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
33 If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him.
39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

The blind man was given a Commandment by The Lord Jesus Christ, which he followed, and as a direct result of his Faith and Obedience he could now see for the first time in his life :D

John 11:38-44 (KJV)
Jesus Resurrects A Dead Man (Lazarus)

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave A Commandnment; to roll away the stone. Although there was a bit of hesitation initially, The Commandment was kept and as a direct result Martha received her brother back from the grave :D

Luke 5:1-11 (KJV)
Jesus Fishing

5 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Here we also see our Lord Jesus Christ giving A Commandment;
Launch out into the deep, and let down the nets for a draught. Although Simon felt a bit discouraged due to the constant failed attempts to catch some fish, He Kept The Lord Jesus Christ's Commandment, and as a result his net broke from the incredible multitude of fish that he caught :D

 Luke 5:17-26 (KJV)

Jesus Heals A Paralyzed Man

17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

The Lord Jesus Christ Gives a simple Commandment to the paralyzed man;
Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. There was no hesitation on the paralyzed man's side, he had absolute Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ (Which can also be seen in the manner in which he was brought to The Lord) so he kept The Commandment Given to him, and as a result he was no longer paralyzed

   Luke 6:6-11 (KJV)
Jesus Heals A Man With A Withered Hand

6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

Here we see our Lord Jesus Christ giving another simple Commandment; Stretch forth thy hand. (This wouldn't seem like a simple Commandment, either to the paralyzed man or to the man with the withered hand, however, due to their Faith In The Lord Jesus Christ it was very simple indeed :D

You and I can have this Faith, and then what seems difficult initially becomes a simple matter of obeying and doing exactly as He Commands :D) As a result of the man's Obedience and Faith, his hand was now healed :)

Matthew 17:24-27 (KJV)

Jesus Miraculously Pays Taxes

24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Here The Lord Jesus Christ gives a Commandment to Peter; go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. Another powerful display of The Lord Jesus Christ's Omnipotence and Omnipresence. There is no doubt that Peter kept this Commandment, and as a direct result, they no longer owed any taxes :)

The people mentioned in the above Bible Passages Have all believed In Jesus Christ and Kept His Commandments (They had Faith In Him and they were Obedient To Him) As a result they received great rewards.  From the few examples above, we can see that Trusting In The Lord Jesus Christ Is The Best Gift we can give ourselves :D

So to answer the question, Can We Trust The Lord?

Absolutely Yes!!!

Our Lord Jesus Christ Is Perfect in every way, His Love far surpasses understanding, and He Wants what's best for us always.
Now Let's Obey and Have Faith In Him! ^____^

John 7:37-39 (KJV)

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of The Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

John 14:15-31 (KJV)

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

When you begin having Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, remember not to doubt! Just keep His Commandments! :D

Matthew 14:22-33 (KJV)

22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

If you have doubted The Lord Jesus Christ, remember that He Is Eagerly Waiting for you to extend your hand at any time (Having Faith In Him :D) and He Will Pull you out of the water :)

Now it's your turn to walk on the water, and towards our Lord Jesus Christ
